taxi fare from path train to airport

Does anyone know the approx taxi fare from the path train newark station to the newark airport; more specifically, the enterprise car rental, which is on 1%26amp;9 right in front of the airport?

And, can you count on finding cabs outside at the path station?

Thanks

2 things. #1. There are cabs ouside Penn Station. However depending on the time of day, it might be cheaper to take the New Jersey Transit train one stop, to the monorail to P2. that is $7.00. There is also the bus option. The 62 bus will drop you off at the terminal take the monorail to P2. That is $1.35 you must have exact change however unlike brooklyn the buses are equiped to handle dollar bills and you can buy your bus ticket when you get off the Path in Penn Station.

#2. That enterprise will only rent to you if your ariving on a flight. I have tried to rent there before. Here are a few links. If you have anyother questions please feel free to contact me.

Thanks for the quick response, you likely saved me a lot of trouble. Enterprise didn%26#39;t seem to have any indication of telling me this before I arrived. This is the 3rd case in 2 days of a car rental company%26#39;s website allowing a reservation w/out mentioning ';closed on Sunday'; ; ';must be flying into airport';, etc. Advice to anyone, call the company asap when a reservation is made.

Now forget about path, taxis and trains, does anyone have advice about trying to rent a car w/ unlimited miles from Fri thru Mon or Tues on Memorial Day Weekend in the NYC area w/out spending a fortune?

Thanks again

Your local enterprise office. i think they have one in Brooklyn or a neighboring city.

Thanks again for the advice. Found one in Brooklyn, decent price considering the holiday weekend. None appear to be open Memorial Day, so settled for Tues.

No problem. Enjoy your trip.
