Ombra at Borgata?

Last month when I was at the Borgata, I realized that Specchio%26#39;s had closed! Now I went on the Borgata website (because i%26#39;m going next week) and see that there is no listing for Ombra.....has that closed also? Wow, a hotel like the Borgata w/no Italian restaurant..unbelievable!!!

Specchio, Ombra %26amp; Risi Bisi-that entire corner has been closed for renovations. It says something new will be opening in the summer.

I really liked the wine bar, and Risi-Bisi had the best take out breakfast going. I%26#39;m disappointed too.

Im guessing that space will have a new restaurant for the Hell%26#39;s Kitchen winner.

Rumor has it that they%26#39;re combining Risi Bisi and Ombra into a new restaurant that will have a new name. I love Risi Bisi%26#39;s pizza!

It%26#39;s definitely going to be the new Hell%26#39;s Kitchen restaurant. I just know it.

I guess last night on Hells Kitchen when they showed the unfinished space where the new restaurant is going to be, they didnt show them going into it (that would have given the location away)....so I was trying to guess where it might be.

It may be the new Hell%26#39;s Kitchen, but I%26#39;d say 95% chance it%26#39;s not. Reason being, they filmed the Hell%26#39;s Kitchen episode from last night back in November 2007, and the space was already sitting empty. Of course they could have flat out lied and what they showed was really part of the Water Club construction, but if they didn%26#39;t lie on the show then the HK restaurant will not be where Risi Bisi/Ombra were.

I didn%26#39;t even know the show Hell%26#39;s Kitchen existed. When I called to make a reservation at Ombra, they told me it was closed and the winner of that show was getting a restaurant there. This was just a random customer service rep, but I would think this would be the truth.

Correct...Ombra will reopen and Risi Bisi will expand, but Speccio will be closed for good and a new restaurant will be added. Not sure when this will be done.
