Is anyone else getting tired of AC?

Well I must say at times going there is pretty depressing with all the cuts and no drink service. I recently was at borgata and it was a very good trip no complaints at all.

But when I went to trump plaza, ceasers and showboat wow what a differnce. Dirty, nothing open, no drink service, attitudes. Its like they can care less about making it enjoyable for the player. And they wonder why their ';loosing money';. What a joke.

We have been going to Mohegan Sun and what a difference on a tue at 2:00 you have a choice of about 7 different dining options $5 blackjack and craps all the time. No attitudes. And the comps are way up there. Still nothing like an ac trip in the summer. Well I guess its borgata or mohegan sun for me!

Is anyone else getting tired of AC?

Anybody know what the drinking age is on the Mohegan reservation? I heard a drunken 20 year old “fan” was arrested for jumping on the stage at the Britney concert the other day.

Is anyone else getting tired of AC?

to answer the original question, No, I am not tired of AC... I do wonder though-with the return of the crowds, how long is it going to take AC to get ready for them?

Not tired but like you stated, what a BIG difference between one place and ALL the others!!!

Am I tired of AC? No, I am not!

Evidence of economic cuts is everywhere -- not just AC: fewer checkouts at Border%26#39;s and Marshall%26#39;s on Sunday in my hometown, our local restaurants running limited hours, etc. I agree if you have found a spot with great service and everything you want, then that%26#39;s where you should go.

As for drink service, I have found it to be pretty similar at every single casino I visit including ALL the ones you mentioned, but experiences do vary.

As for being dirty, again you are entitled to your own opinion but don%26#39;t mistake ';old'; for dirty. I%26#39;m racking my brain trying to remember any part of Caesar%26#39;s or Showboat that I think of as ';dirty'; unless you mean some of the entrances. Another poster recently complained about Ballly%26#39;s, but I still think of their Claridge and Wild West sections as being fairly well-lit and reasonably clean. The main casino floor at Bally%26#39;s is probably one of the most highly-trafficked spaces in all of AC because people use that part of the casino to get to their rooms, and tons of folks just wander in off the Boardwalk.

I am glad Mohegan Sun is accessible and that it meets your needs. As for me, I%26#39;ll still be heading down the pike to AC every two or three weeks because it%26#39;s really fun for me-- even when the weather is bad and I don%26#39;t win. Just love it there!

I am sorry to say that I have to agree with the OP; we stopped in Caesar%26#39;s briefly over the weekend and I was shocked how much it has degraded lately. It really was dirty - empty drinks with cigarette butts and trash in them, overflowing ashtrays, and just not clean enough for me. We didn%26#39;t even want to touch the slot machines. The clientele has really changed too - a couple obvious hookers hanging at the Toga bar, and homeless people escaping the rain. We were only there for about an hour, could not get drink service, and were both hit up for cigs. I%26#39;ve always liked Caesar%26#39;s, and have been reading about these conditions with a bit of skepticism. Now, having experienced it first hand, I can say they better clean up their act before I return.

not at all. cant get there enough to get tired of it. to be honest we had to skip our semi annual vegas confrence this year......... and in a strange way i was perfectly happy to go to ac instead. its not vegas but i still love it.

I do see your point though. my wifes aunt whi i believe must be 7star and lives in jersey suppoosedly has stopped going to ac and is now going to mohegan sun? but i still have no temptation to switch

Am Sorry also.Showboat is Worst than Caesars. At least at Caesars the 2nd floor isn%26#39;t too bad.Showboat is Plain Filthy with very little attempt of cleaning up emptys and removing trash. The Bums are ALL over and no one seems to bother them.Won%26#39;t even comment on Ballys!!!

recently, I have been patronizing Resort%26#39;s. I love the architecture. it is clean AND most importantly, the staff are pleasant %26amp; drink service is fast ~ oh, they smile %26amp; say thank you very audibly, it%26#39;s just a nice touch

Yes, we have gotten ';sick of AC';. No dining options, crabby people, dirty, etc. The whole ';AC experience'; is gone! If all I want to do is play slot machines, I can do that in PA. Used to go monthly, in Oct, not so good, Nov worse, didn%26#39;t go until Feb and that was worse than before. BTW, we were always Caesars people but got tired of buying drinks at Toga Bar waiting for cocktail service, went to Ballys and I will say absolutely no problem getting a drink; however, nothing open in the morning to have breakfast. Have reservations for June, hope things have changed because I really miss my AC trips.
