Due to using frequent flier miles, we are flying into Philadelphia and driving to AC. Having never made that trip, is there anything I should know about the drive? I%26#39;ll be mapping it on Google.
Any roads we should avoid? Good places to stop along the way? It looks like a fairly straightforward hour plus drive, but I%26#39;ve been wrong before-HA! We arrive at 8:30 in the morning so don%26#39;t know if that is Rush Hour and we should just hang out somewhere before making the drive or just hit the road right away.

By the time you get your bags and car the worst of rush hour is over. The best route is to go north on I-95 to the Walt Whitman Bridge exit, make sure you are in the far right hand lane when you pass the Eagles Stadium which you will see on the left. Go East over the Walt Whitman onto Route 42, continue to the Atlantic City Expressway all the way into AC. If you want to stop anywhere along the way avoid the Expressway which only has 1 service area. Instead take route 322 which has several places to stop and eat, or shop and numerous stop lights and will be a slower drive. Usually once you hit the Walt Whitman you have about 1 hours to AC on the expressway.
