For all you Vegas travelers. Danny Gans passed away in his sleep this morning. 52 years young. So Sad.
Danny Gans passed away
What a shock. I saw his show a couple of years ago and he was a true ';Vegas'; entertainer. I envision him in the ';Showroom in the Sky'; packing them in.
Danny Gans passed away
Steve Wynn issued this statement:
';Elaine and I and all of us in the Company are devastated at the loss of our brilliant, talented and loving friend. One of the most unique human beings and entertainers in the world has been taken from us in an unexpected moment. A profoundly tragic event that leaves us all sad and speechless. The loss of Danny to his wife Julie, his children Amy, Andrew %26amp; Emily is at this moment impossible to comprehend. We will all try to go on with our lives without our dear friend. At this moment it seems almost impossible.';
Alav Hashalom, Danny.
OMG - We saw his very entertaining show in Vegas a few years ago. I thought he was one of the more under-rated performers out there! That%26#39;s so sad.

I%26#39;m in shock. I saw his show a couple of years ago and he seemed to be in such good health and in good shape. It goes to prove you never know when your time will come. He seemed like a very good person as well as a good entertainer.
omg. his was one of the shows we panned on eventually seeing next time we went to vegas, heard he was fantastic. sad
To be honest, I never thought of seeing his show but everytime I go to Vegas, I look for his billboards. When I was at Encore in February, he had his own theatre with his name as big as day. You never know when your time has come. You have to live it to the fullest. I saw on another thread that all shows on the strip are cancelled today. I wouldn%26#39;t be surprised.
We saw him twice...the first time at the Rio a long time ago and then a couple of years later at Mirage. He was very talented and too young to die!
We actually saw him years ago at Caesar%26#39;s in Atlantic city, then a few years later at the Mirage. What a sad time for his family %26amp; friends!
What a great talent! We saw him at the Mirage a couple years ago and my wife actually saw him when he was just starting out at the Stratosphere about 12 years ago. I was always impressed that Danny was insistent that the price of his show ticket would remain very affordable. He surely brought a lot of laughter to his audiences over the years. We have truly lost a Vegas icon.
WOW I saw him not a month ago at Encore.
