My family and I are visiting New York and will be staying at Hilton in Elisabeth NJ. We would like to do visit some attractions in NY during our stay here.
Could anymore inform me how to get to Manhattan from Spring Street NJ? What is the travel time duration? Could we get there too by bus?
I would appreciate very much for the information you could provide me.

Take the hotel shuttle back to the airport.
Take #62 NJ Transit bus to Newark Penn Station. Take PATH into Manhattan.
Plan on 45-60 minutes ';commute'; one-way.

yes there is a great bus that runs from EWR to Port Authority. I caught it in front of the Contintenal terminal (C I think but could be wrong). Its great with the kids because it is always empty and very clean and it is DIRECT to Port Authority. However, it is $15 per person for adults. You can pay the driver. On the return I took the Olympia bus for $15 from the Port Authority to EWR. (Of course, take the complimentary hotel shuttle to EWR and back again)
Take your hotel shyuttle to P4. From P4 take the monorail one stop to either one of the terminal for the bus or to the raillink for the train, to NY. New Jersey also has alot to offer as well. Here are a couple of links.
