First of all sorry it took so long my laptop down for almost 2 weeks. Rship thanks for your number but after you read this we were on a mission and just lost track of time. We left Ct at 1000am and had a great ride to AC. We checked into Harrahs at 230pm and got a new room 25th floor overlooking the bay. We went for a nice long swim than had dinner at Sac o Subs. Love the subs. We than left to go to Ballys to play the 2x5x10 25cent machine we love. We started to play at 630pm. As always we bring 1000.00 with us 500 for Friday and 500 for Saturday. We played through our first 500 and not a thing we then played through our next 500 and nothing. It is now 545am I am tired and wife is none to happy so we leave and go back to Harrahs to bed. Wake up at 1030am and wife tells me to our bank in Abscon its a chain bank and to get 1000.00 out so we can enjoy my birthday weekend. When I get back my wife says she has a plan and to just hear her out. We always play 25c manchines till we win enough to play dollar ones. This time wife says we are down and if we want to get close to even we are going to the taja and playing the dollar 2x5x10 bank in smoking. ( We have the money we are not using our food or mortage money just wanted everyone to know we are not one of those) Anyway we sit at the end one and we start tlaking to a lady in a red shirt and she tells us our machine just hit for 5000.00 and she has not hit a thing. OH well just play this 100 and move on. Well machine hits 2x10x2 cool 1000.00. The lady next to me hits the cash out button and said sure you just sit down and win a grand and I have been here losing my shirt. Well I get her seat and I think she has left but she is one of those hovering types and just watches us. Well second hundered and boom 5x5x5 =2500.00 big ones. She is pissed and everyone in the area knows she was playing on the machine before us and was just getting change when I took her seat. A nice old couple told her to pi@@ off in a nice way and told me nice job. Well first w-2 this trip. We had two free dinners at the virgina city Bf and thank God they were free. Not good at all. But free made it taste alittle better. We then head back over to Harrhas to play a few 1 2x5x10 machines and again hit for 1000.00 and 350.00 and 600.00 dollars we are feeling good and up money so we take our winnings and put them in safe and go back and play the 25 machines all random ones. It was cool it was a nice change and we kept winning not big but 100 here 250 there and so on. We left AC up 4650 not bad for being down 1000.00 on Friday. I did notice less bums and the places seemed a little cleaner. We will not be down till September lots to do this summer. But I hope everyone has a great summer and a winning trips. yeah im sure every slot player who leaves a machine only to see the next player hit has that same attitude,but its a shame she actually had to make a scene. pretty funny that that cpl put her in her place haha,sounds like she was that player we all know who wants to tell you about their bad luck or story just enough to make you move.

I%26#39;m curious about the Virginia City buffet%26#39;s not being good. I mean, I really don%26#39;t enjoy that long skinny stampede room at all, but I%26#39;ve always found the food to be good enough. Sad.

maybe he meant it was a rough one because it ended up being such a good trip. i enjoyed it,nice that you and the mrs play the same machines. I like dollar slots and my wife only likes certain 25cent machines so between dropped cell phone calls and my wife being kind of short its an adventure tracking rach other down sometimes.
I ment rough because you should have saw us Saturday at 545am. To the question about the buffet. The place was pretty busy and alot of empty or low food bins. It was called a seafood night and the only seafood they had were small crab legs and over cooked fried shrimp. Free it was good but 25.99 a person would have made me think twice. About the bums maybe the weather is better and they stay outside but the WWW and ballys and even the Taja did not have anyone bother us for butts or spare change. And you are right when you win everything seems better. One thing I forgot to add is we took the older couple to lunch at the burger place at the Taja they said no twice but the third time is the charm. Nice couple from Toms River said they come down alot and that women is there most of the time make a fuss about one thing or another. They also gave us good tips for dinner outside the city. All in all it was a great weekend but it was tough Friday. My wife made the call I would have gone to the pool all day if it were not for her. Enjoy your long weekend and I hope your Drunk fest is great. Tilt a few back for us............
i had that several times when i hit on a machine and someone comes up and says they were just playing that machine like i stole their jackpot. the best was i was playing blackjack and some guy came up to me and said he was playing that seat and that my chips should be his chips. sometimes it is best to just ignore some people.

When a ';hoverer'; whines to me that they lost a bundle in a machine I just won on, I tell then if they reimburse my losses up to that point then we can talk. They shut up and leave after that because they think I am a crazy person....
