I%26#39;ve been reading hotel reviews -- lame, right?-- and just read a post concerning Harrah%26#39;s AC complaining about the area next to registration and the coffee shop being a smoking section. Is that true? I know there%26#39;s a Pennyville -type place farther along the hallway but I didn%26#39;t think the area around the lobby was smoking. Can someone help me out on this?
TIA
Harrah's Question
I haven%26#39;t been in a couple of months, but there wasn%26#39;t a smoking area my last time at Harrah%26#39;s. However, that penny slot area was chock full of smoke. It was pretty bad with the low ceilings and being closed on 3 sides.
My next trip will be to Caesars, but I%26#39;m looking forward to more info.

Harrah's Question
TIA - not true. There is no smoking area anywhere near hotel registration. There%26#39;s the penny place along the hallway about halfway between Club Cappucino and the escalators up to the restaurants, another in the high roller room (Diamond Cove) and a third area near the escalators coming down from the parking deck. Hope this helps.

perfect explanation of where the smoking section is. yes you cant pass it without smelling the smoke (btw i do smoke) and yes its pretty bad even for a smoker. but once you get past it its fine.
let me add,yes it is very strong in that smoking section(again i am a smoker0 its a common spot for smokers to go into just to burn one and go back to where they really want to play. the area is full of tight ,boring slots except from what looks like some fun penny slots. but honestly, its not bad enough that a person would change their gambling casino because of it.
The only smoking section over there is between VIP check in and the elevators to the atrium towers, across from the large bathrooms/shoe shine booth.
