Did I make a terrible mistake?
I just booked the ';Alea'; for 4 nights in August -- the reviews (which I should have looked at before) are very disturbing. If anyone stays there this season, please advise me of your finds. Not that I can do anything now! The 10% discount hooked me -- it%26#39;s still almost $1100 for 5 adults/4 nights.
Thanks
Aqua Beach Resort and Mtoel
Your best bet in WC is the Attache. My family and I have stayed there many times over the years in late September. In quite Wildwood Crest, but you can walk 3 blocks to the start of the boardwalk in Wildwood.
Aqua Beach Resort and Mtoel
Thank you -- I will keep that in mind for next year.
Anyone else staying/stayed at Alea at Aqua Beach?
I JUST booked a room for the first week in August.. .BEFORE i read the reviews.... Im nervous too... oh well... good luck!
and Good Luck to you, too!
Will you please let me know how your Aqua Beach ';adventure'; turns out? We are going mid=August
I do hope you and yours have a nice vacation.
Thanks - T
I too am thinking about the Aqua....and wondering about what I have read in the reviews and was coming to the Forum right now for more input!
The Aqua is not a bad Jersey Shore motel. It is typical of the area, but our stays have always been comfortable and clean. Also, it is very close to the boardwalk, so no trolley, drving or parking is necessary. My nephew stays there every year and refuses to stay anywhere else, including the times other family is in WW staying in other places.
The pool area feels a little crowded sometimes, but again it is clean.
The ';alea'; I believe is part of the new section of this resort. I have only every stayed in the motel rooms the Aqua has to offer, but their new ';condo'; type units look nice. Only thing to be aware of, they are not ocean front.
Hope this helps. I think you%26#39;ll have fun.
It%26#39;s will be my 6 years that i%26#39;m going to the Adventurer and me and my familly love it, you can check my review with pictures. The only bad things about the Adventure is the elevetor is really slow.
It%26#39;s close to the Boardwalk but at the quiet end of it.If you have any questions just ask me.
Eric
I have never stayed at the Aqua Beach, but walk by the place all the time we are in Wildwood Crest.
From the outside the motel looks in good condition and clean. It is near the boardwalk so the location may is more noisy than if you chose a place a few blocks south.
The price you are paying is not out of line for Aug as many places on the NJ coast like Ocean City, Avalon, Stone Harbor, etc can be $300 per night.
I thought it was fine.
I have stayed at the Aqua beach every year for 20 years. The rooms have all gone down hill and the staff is rude. I now will only stay at the beach crest condo/aqua owns them too. you can get a 3 or 4 bedroom condo and the pool is nice and quiet.
