Hi,
I used to visit AC frequently. DH and I have been going to Las Vegas and putting Atlantic City on the back burner. We are rewarded much better in LV.
I recall a post that stated Harrah%26#39;s eateries were seldom open. I am interested in the Deli by the Harbor towers, as I used to love the';grab and go'; to take it to my room.
I am wondering if it was just during the winter that some were not open, or is it cut backs (or both).
DH and I are going back for three days next week. Times are tight, and I have my first grandchild coming in a few weeks..I need a little fix! LOL
Thanks in advance and Good Luck!!

What's open?
It is NOT a winter only thing at Harrahs.
Seems as things are open/closed/have hours change with no rhyme or reason.
Best thing you can do is call ahead and speak to the particular establishments you wish to visit.
What's open?
Apparently the House of Blues restaurant and the bar was closed at 8:00 tonight; I don%26#39;t know if it was closed all day or closed early, but it%26#39;s definitely not open late anymore during the week.
Also, either the 12BAR at Showboat has lowered its paytables or there were already this low and I forgot, but they%26#39;re currently at 6/5 Jacks or Better, which is pretty much as low as Jacks or Better can possibly go. 94.9%... crazy. There are slots that pay better than that.
Last week the House of Blues restaurant had a sign posted that it is only open on weekends; I think it said Fridays %26amp; Saturdays. The 12 Bar has always had about the lowest paytables you can find, but at least it’s open, and the comp drinks are great if you can find a seat. The buffet, Rib House and Mansion restaurants were also closed Thursday. It seems like they only want to cater to the weekend amateurs lately?
HOB restaurant is open only on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Rib %26amp; Chop is closed on Sundays. The buffet is also Mondays and Tuesdays. The Mansion Coffee Shop is closed on Sunday night and several other days/nights. I meant to write all of these down last weekend to get them all straight. Bottom line - if you are staying at Showboat on a Monday - Weds night, you may find that only the Canal Street take out is open. I%26#39;m hoping they%26#39;ll restore some hours over the summer.
I realize the OP is asking about Harrahs but I don%26#39;t have good information for that property. Sorry.
ACM
The Bonus Poker is also 6/5, so it%26#39;s a much better play if at 12 or Spirit bar. (97.2%)
I don%26#39;t know why anyone would want to play J or B there, since you can get the identical pays on lower hands, but better pays on the 2/3/4/A. We sat down just to get a quick drink, and visit with Pete and Mike, and I got 4 4%26#39;s almost immediately. With Stella on tap now, a nice Pretzel from Pete, I decided to play it down to 200 bucks, and hit another 4 4%26#39;s. I gave Frank a hundred and decided to play it down to 300. Frank was playing DB on accident and hit 4 aces, 800 bucks. We decided this was just crazy, and I cashed out to head over to full pay with another fresh cold Stella and told Frank to cash out at 850 and join me. I heard a yell a few minutes later, he hit aces again....He said he would play it down to 1600 and be right over. Not 10 minutes later, hit Aces for a third time, cashed out with 2400 tax free, and this explains my forgiving the bar for having bad paytables............. I am usually all about the math, but boy was it fun to have such a crazy, lucky, hour.....
that deli at harrahs can and is very iconsistant hours wise. my wife and i love the decadent choc cake they have there. and as a back up the cannolis at the coff shop. . best advice is instead of waiting till your ready to call it a night,go buy it early, get it to go and then go back to your gaming of choice. oooops. I guess my suggestion wouldent be very good if your talking about hot food.sorry
Thank you all. Actually, that would work for me a1, as I like to get a cold sandwich. I could throw it in the fridge.
