6 of us heading down in June for a bachelor party. Hearing mixed reviews from: You will have a great time, nice young crowd, close to everything all the way to: the place is a dump, bed bugs and scabbies, etc.
What%26#39;s the deal? We just want a place to rest our necks and have a good time.

Opinions on The Trop
Its not a bad place. I guess for a Bachelor Party its perfect. Great clubs, great bars, food is good..Carmines is excellent! I think the Havana Tower is the newest and cleanest to stay in, but Im not sure.
About three years ago, i did get bed bug bites, and swore Id never go back...but i did and it was better. Thing is, alot of staff have been terminated so things arent as clean as they were. But again, I was there in November and the room was good, food was good, and again, for a Bachelor party I cant see you having a bad time.
Opinions on The Trop
south tower was recently redone, i just stayed in the north tower and no bug bites. check out their website www.tropicana.net for info on clubs and restaurants.
I think the Trop is a good choice for your bachelor party. I go to AC each summer with 6-8 male college friends, and even if no one%26#39;s getting married the general feel is pretty similar to a bachelor party. We stayed at Trop last year, and it was perfect. Not elegant, but who cares? Probably the youngest crowd of any Boardwalk casino, and your proximity to the Quarter is a big plus. On the Friday of our trip, 8 dudes were able to walk into Providence with only a modest cover.

The Trop is my second favorite casino/hotel next to the Borgata. Tropicana is one of the older casinos in AC. Its room in the South tower were renovated in 2007, but some suites were not. North tower is the same deal. Trop has tons of shop, restaurants, and things to do. It gives you a fun atmosphere where as the Borgata gives you a high class Vegas feel. Both have night clubs and bars, but the young people that go to the Borgata are not loud and obnoxious as the ones at the Trop.
Haven%26#39;t stayed at the Trop since December. It%26#39;s okay but I like Caesars better. Borgata too.
Tropicana is only one casino on A. C. boardwalk with
';Las Vegas feeling';
Besides the Borgata, the Trop seems to have the best clubs and youngest people.
Every time I go there I see numerous bachelorette parties, which can%26#39;t be a bad thing. :)
Group dinner @ Carmines is a good idea if you%26#39;re into Italian food. Family style place. Good food. Loud and fun. Just make a reservation.
