thats a good thing. cracking down in virginia too.

as a person who knows first hand that a seatbelt saved my life when i was young and stupid ....I say its great. I wouldent even get bent out of shape if it applied to the back seat either.

FYI, this is a national initiative for the holiday weekend. Just because there might not be local news in your area, they will be out there checking, so please be aware. Besides, it is a good idea to wear your seat belt.....even if you think the cops ain%26#39;t looking!

Oh yeah!!!!

On another note:

LOUD PIPES SAVES LIVES!!!

Please be aware of motorcycles, sometimes they are in a blind spots and with all of the noise restrictions that some municipalities are enacting, you can%26#39;t hear them and can%26#39;t see them in the blind spot.

Please double check before changing lanes or making turns....it can save a life.

Hoping everyone has a SAFE and HAPPY Holiday weekend!

it%26#39;s also a good idea not to give the local police a reason to pull u over. they could find something worse in your car ~ like this scenario: u r completely sober and u THOUGHT your MIL in the backseat was also, but in reality, she cannot stand your driving, so what u THOUGHT was a water bottle is actually filled w/vodka so she can handle your driving. and in her stupor begins to berate the policeman based on her own father being crooked. there is no law about a drunken passenger, but they want to perform a search of your car. u think u have no contraband %26amp; allow it and that single marijuana seed that got wedged in your sandal last summer on your visit to Amsterdam [u haven%26#39;t worn the sandals since the trip] falls of onto your car rug %26amp; u find yourself in handcuffs w/a record over not wearing your seatbelt

Yeah....MIL%26#39;s will get you when your not looking..lol

%26lt;I have to say...I have a great one tho%26gt;

Every state in the US except New Hampshire is doing this as New Hampshire is the only state without some kind of seatbelt law.

I find it so incredible that there are still so many people not wearing seatbelts, even during a time when it is announced that the are doing stepped up enforcement.

Also for those from other states without it, NJ has a law prohibting cellphone use while driving and it is strictly enforced.

I am so use to wearing a seatbelt, I would feel like something was missing if I didn%26#39;t use it! As far as the cellphones use-I still see plenty of folks using them while driving... makes me crazy ..
