I%26#39;ve been to just about every steakhouse in AC. I think it%26#39;s time to try something else.
What is your favorite restaurant that isn%26#39;t a steakhouse? I%26#39;m open to anything but seafood.
Thanks, in advance, for the ideas!

New restaurantare burgers allowed? veal?
oh well, this is 1 of my faves %26amp; may work. Los Amigos http://www.losamigosrest.com/AC they have excellent black bean soup, Mexican pizza %26amp; quesadillas
New restaurantI%26#39;d put Mia on your list too. It%26#39;s been a while since I%26#39;ve eaten there, but have good memories of the pork loin.
Commander -- I hope you%26#39;ll report back on whichever new restaurants you choose. This is off topic, but I am loving your blog!
Thanks for the input folks. Maybe I should have had a wittier subject to get more replies. lol
DCbonvivant thanks for the kind words, I%26#39;ll definitely report back!

I would second rship%26#39;s recommendation. I try to get to Los Amigos evertime I am in AC.
I love Mia - it%26#39;s been a while but I love their beef carpaccio.
Taj Mahal has a good gourmet Chinese restaurant (can%26#39;t think of the name).
Old Waterway Inn is good too.
Rship took us to an awesome place (in Margate?), but I can%26#39;t remember the name. If you search Rob%26#39;s posts you should see lots of local restaurant suggestions. He%26#39;s much better with them than I am as I tend to eat at the casino steakhouses.
%26gt;%26gt;Rship took us to an awesome place (in Margate?)%26lt;%26lt;
memory block! I do not remember. can u give me any more details? I recall going to the mainland to SuperBuffet %26amp; Big Lots %26amp; stopping at Lucy on the way there.... u used the restroom in Ventura%26#39;s, but we didn%26#39;t eat there [mmmmm, oysters rockefeller]
was it Anchorage Tavern in Somer%26#39;s Point?
YES!! That is the place. I knew it had the same name as a city but couldn%26#39;t remember which city. lol
Those oyster shooters were SO good!
mmmm, oyster shooters!
I love this place, but want to suggest visiting there off~season as u need to either %26#39;follow the gull%26#39; thru Ventnor, Margate %26amp; Longport to the bridge or take the ACEX to GSP. Either way it%26#39;s lots of traffic. Gee, since it was off~season, Anchorage had an earlybird special, but the regular prices are reasonable, so 3 out of 4 did not order earlybird
If you%26#39;re used to eating in the casinos the prices are downright ridiculously inexpensive.
I did also love the SuperBuffet. That was like $12 or $14 and had a huge selection.
