Help us pick a beach!

We are looking for a weekend getaway (husband, myself, and our almost 1 year old) to NJ. We live in Philly now and I went to Ocean City and Wildwood a lot when I was a kid but haven%26#39;t been to the shore in so long I don%26#39;t know which beach would be best for us now.

Baby will obviously be too young to go in the ocean, so I guess we%26#39;re looking for a quiet beach that she can play on but also we will need other things to do nearby when we aren%26#39;t on the beach. We%26#39;d prefer somewhere with a boardwalk, but I don%26#39;t know which one is best? From what I%26#39;ve read about Cape May that seems like a nice spot, but is there enough to do other then the beach and looking at the architecture/lighthouses.

Any help would be appreciated!

Any of the following towns will fit your needs;

Ocean City

Stone Harbor

Avalon

North Wildwood

Wildwood Crest

Cape May

I leave out staying in Wildwood, only because a bit more noisy with the boardwalk.
