Harrahs limited food and beverage question

When you have limited food and beverage, how does it work if there are 4 people in your party? We%26#39;re going to Harrah%26#39;s in a couple of weeks, with another couple. I have $50 resort credit, limited food and beverage and about 2800 reward credits. If the four of us go to the buffet and get one check how will it work? Also, how many times will they allow food comps? Will they comp breakfast in the morning also? Again, will they comp all four of us or just partial? Thanks for your help!

Harrahs limited food and beverage question

LFB is good for 2 people.

It is something of a mystery how much they will cover on LFB. It depends on your play. Usually they will cover breakfast lunch and dinner at their ';casual dining'; establishments.

2800 reward credits = $28. They will use your RC%26#39;s to cover your LFB charges until they are exhausted. That is when the LFB kicks in and the resort picks up the rest.

I don%26#39;t know how they handle resort credit and LFB. Most likely they exhaust that as well before LFB comes into play.

Harrahs limited food and beverage question

%26gt;%26gt;four of us go to the buffet and get one check how will it work%26lt;%26lt; MJ was explaining a 2ppl limit on RFB to me %26amp; to request 1 check per 2ppl... gee it may have been spring 08, also it was in Rib %26amp; Chophouse, not the buffet.

due to length of time, my memory is fuzzy, MJ can u offer assistance?

It slightly depends on how you do it, and your play. I usually have lfb at harrahs, but 4 of us go to the buffet pretty often. Sometimes I have a coupon for 2 free, I charge the other 2 to the room and it%26#39;s all comped that way. I have had pretty good luck charging 4 to the room and it also is all comped, but I call down and have a host look at my play at check-out and they waive the charges. Since they use your credits first, I would hand them your card, take out comps for 1 buffet and charge 3 to the room. Worst case, 1 comes out of your resort credit. If you charge all 4, they will use your reward credits up first, maybe on room taxes, then your 50 resort credit, then you may end up paying out of pocket for the other 2 buffets, that%26#39;s why I would use the reward credits by handing the card to the cashier first, so you know they will pay for a buffet for sure, and not waste comps paying taxes on the room and you get stuck with the buffet charge.

rship: What happened in the Rib and Chop House was that Bill was RFB, I was RFB on my own room, and Venus was RFB. So what we did was have them split the bill 3 ways back to each of our own rooms. This should have been no problem since it was 3 rooms, 6 meals, but as in HET style they wound up screwing that up too and charged each room for the total amount of the bill equalling about $1,200 for a meal that was less then $600. After several phone calls, we were finally able to get someone to understand that there were 3 RFB%26#39;s and 6 people and they finally picked up all the charges.

We have noticed that Harrahs will only pick up for 2 people per meal, but Caesars seems to pick up the whole meal regardless of how many people, as long as it%26#39;s under a certain amount.

If there are more than 2 couples and you have 2 rooms that are lfb, have them give you 2 checks.

The difference is that Harrahs, Ballys and Showboat just automatically cover all the bills (for RFB) up to a certain point as long as there were only 2 people dining. Caesars actually has someone look at what was played. So if you play a lot there, they will pick up extra guests at their discretion. If you don%26#39;t play enough, they will actually cut off the RFB and have the charges start hitting your room.

%26gt;%26gt;but as in HET style they wound up screwing that up%26lt;%26lt;

I did not know that u had issues. Sorry to hear that. Thanks again for that dinner, as u see, even a year later I remember what a great meal it was [w/great company]

It was worth the small aggravation, we had a great time and hope to do it again soon.

I have had many RFG/LFB at Harrah%26#39;s - and what you need to be sure of is how they charge GUESTS HEADCOUNTS. Example, I am RFB or LFB but I get 2 sandwiches from the deli -- they put in 3 people...1/3 of the total bill hits my room. When I have charged 4 people at Reflections/Buffet - they split the bill in half and charge to room. That has been the practice in my experience for a year or two.

I have never had a issue in three years having 4 people compedon LFB. We eat and drink pretty heavy too. Hey price is right :) We just charge back everything to our room and as long as we keep to the casual dining places and the bars everything is taken off.

Fab: Is this at Harrahs? Anytime I am RFB at Harrahs and the bill reflects more than 2 persons they will split the bill and only pay for 2 persons. This has also happened to my husband, and my mother. As I said before this does not happen at Caesars or Showboat. They pick up all the charges within reason.
