40th anniversary

My husband and I are celebrating our 40th anniversary in July, 2009 and would like to visit Cape May, but are on a limited budget.

Any ideas of where to stay and what to do? We don%26#39;t want to rent a car, just walk and relax.Where do people fly into? Thanks!

AirTran apparently is starting flights into Atlantic City in June. I believe you will be able to get there with one change in Atlanta. You can take a bus from Atlantic City to Cape May.

You will definitely not need a car.

There are wonderful walks all over town to enjoy the wonderful range of 19th century architecture. You might want to take the bus tour and/or a walking tour organized by one of the local historic associations.

You can go deep-sea fishing, or rent a little boat and go crabbing, or go on one of the ';whale-watching'; expeditions - to see dolphins.

You can also sit on the beach, walk on the beach, swim on the beach, people-watch on the beach.

Finally, if you participate in America%26#39;s number-one hobby, there is also a bit of shopping.
